UIC Head Office has just successfully organized a CSR activity in 25 March 2017, as a significant event towards contributing to the society, especially poor and disadvantaged children, pupils in remove and mountainous area.
UIC Team take photos with pupils at school.
Na An local school is located in Van Ho district, Son La province, around 200km away from Hanoi. The school has 60 pupils from grade 1 to grade 5. With poor infrastructure, the pupils are in need of basic facilities and logistics for study.
With donation amount of around 45 mil VND (around 2,000 USD) from both company fund and staff voluntary contribution, UIC team has provided necessary facilities for school such as electric wiring system, lights and fans for class rooms; water tank/pipes and drinking water machine for pupils. Particularly, gift have been provided to each pupil (around 60, including 10 special one for pupils with excellent academic results). Each gift contains uniform, notebooks and other school stationery.
“These are extremely needed and necessary presents for our school children. In coming summer, our kids don’t have to suffer hot weather in no fan room, or go to near-by houses to ask for drinking water. You have brought smiles to our Kids” said the School Headmaster.
Participating in the event, UIC team and families members also has chance to observe the actual school life and condition in one among many difficult schools in remote and mountainous areas of Vietnam. Through talking to pupils, parents, teachers…the team have better insight and share the difficulty that they are suffered. This is very useful and humanity experience brought by the event.
